Q: How is the test administered?

A: NEET is an offline pen and paper test.

Q: What are the NEET language options?

A: The NEET is administered in 11 languages, including English and Hindi. The other nine languages are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Q: How many questions are in the exam?

A: Of a total of 180 questions, 45 are on physics, 45 are on chemistry, and 90 are on biology, including botany and zoology.

Q: What kind of questions are asked in the NEET exam?

A: Students will have to answer objective questions in the paper. There are no subjective questions.

Q: What are the maximum marks?

A: The maximum score a student can get is 720.

Q: How are the answers marked?

A: For every correct answer, students get four marks. If a question is left unanswered, no marks are given.

Q: Is there any negative marking?

A: Yes. For every incorrect answer, students will be docked one point.

PASS MARKQ: What is the pass mark for NEET?

A: For the general category, the passing mark is 50 percentile. For OBC, it is 45 percentile, and for all other categories, it is 40 percentile.

Q: What is the NEET syllabus?

A: NEET questions cover a vast syllabus. The NCERT syllabus for Classes 11 and 12 across all subjects will be covered.
