JEE Mains 2024 January Session’s Admit Cards to be Issued by the NTA

The JEE Mains 2024, the entrance exam for engineering aspirants, is round the corner, and students are in a frenzy already. Lakhs of students take this highly competitive and challenging exam, and this number keeps rising each year. Now, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the date for the Admit Card for the first session to be held this year. Know all about the process here.

To begin with, the exam is to be held from 24 January to 1 February 2024 this year. Surely, your JEE preparation must be spot on, and by now, you are well-prepared to take the exam head-on. Since the NTA has announced the issuance of the Admit Card, we take you through what you need to do and how to download it.

  • Do note that the Admit Cards will be uploaded by the NTA on their official website three days prior to the exam, which is on 20 January.
  • You must login onto the website with your credentials, i.e., your date of birth and application number, to download the card.
  • Now, download the card by clicking on the link provided on the website for session 1 of the JEE Mains.
  • Next, do a thorough check of all the details on the card and in case of any errors, do contact the authorities to fix them.
  • Next, you need to take a colour printout of the same, which you must always carry with you for the exam.

Now that you know to download it, here are the details that will be mentioned on your Admit Card:

  • Applicant’s name
  • Application number
  • Roll number
  • Father’s name
  • Course name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Category
  • State of eligibility
  • Candidate’s photograph
  • PwD Status
  • Test city and centre code
  • Date and shift of examination
  • Paper (BE/BTech/BArch/B.Planning)
  • Photograph of the candidate
  • Candidate and parent signature
  • Important instructions

The above seems fairly easy and simple to do, and with proper steps, you will be able to download your Admit Card easily. However, do keep it safe, as the NTA will not issue a duplicate one on any account. Therefore, do ensure that your Admit Card in well-preserved and in good condition. Now that you’ve only a few days left for the exam, it is natural to get the jitters. However, we suggest that in this period, all you do is practise with the JEE test series and solve JEE previous years’ papers. Both these are easy to access and download at TG Campus.
